Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and control paint shop operations to achieve production targets.
- Ensure paint quality standards (appearance, durability, thickness, and finish) are consistently met.
- Drive continuous improvement projects for productivity, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Analyze paint defects and coordinate with cross-functional teams for root cause analysis and resolution.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols, ISO standards, and environmental compliance in paint shop.
- Manage manpower allocation, skill development, and shift schedules effectively.
- Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of paint shop equipment in coordination with the maintenance team.
- Prepare reports on production, quality, and resource utilization for management review.
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for paint material quality and consumption optimization.

- Paint shop processes, equipment, and materials
- Surface preparation, pretreatment, and curing techniques
- Quality control methods and standards (5S, Six Sigma, SPC, etc.)
