Job Description of Production Manager Position                                                                                    
Designation:  Manager 
Department: Production
Experience: (in years): 10-15 years plastic compounding manufacturing company
Qualification: CIPET and bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering                                                                         
Report to: Plant Head                               
Place to work- Neemrana.                                                                                                                                                    
REQUIRED SKILLS                                                                     
1) Continue constant monitoring safety management
2) Manufacturing quality product uninterruptedly
3) Resource mobilization and its proper utilization
4) Daily review/monitoring of production in terms of PQCDSM
5) Why-why analysis of failures/rejection so that timely corrective action may be taken
6) Morale development of operators and engineers
7) Quality system implementation
8) Coordinating production activities with other departments for smooth production
9) New development from engineering point of view
10)Timely maintenance of equipment for better results
11) 5S activities
12) Communicate regularly with your production team to ensure that everyone is aware of production goals and objectives.
13) Reduction in rejection/losses
14) Reduction of manufacturing cost without affecting the productivity
15) Always sincere for adoption of safe work practices
16) Improvement of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

CRITICAL SKILL SET
1) Requires basic safety management skills
2) Should have knowledge of products, process, raw materials, and its final products.
3) Should be good in organizing the entire production process.
4) Should have analytical skills and be conversant with new production techniques.
5) Should have a leadership quality who can lead and command the team, must be a good mentor.
6) Responsible for managing the production budget, including forecasting, and tracking expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
