A company in the engineering and manufacturing sector is hiring for an Assistant Manager – Mould Designer position.
Job Responsibilities
Design and develop moulds using UG NX 12 and AutoCAD drafting tools
Manage 3D modeling, 2D drawing generation, and material specifications for moulds
Handle mould design for tonnages ranging from 650 to 3500
Oversee technical management of moulds and tools, ensuring compliance with design standards
Collaborate with technical teams on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and processing technology development
Conduct design reviews and ensure standardisation in mould design processes
Job Requirements
Strong experience in mould design and development
Proficiency in UG NX 12 and AutoCAD drafting
Knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D drawing generation
Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing principles and technical discussions
Experience in managing moulds for large tonnage applications
Ability to lead design reviews and ensure adherence to standardization practices
