Essentials Requirement :
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar / related field.
Proven experience in import-export operations, with a focus on coordinating with forwarders and shipping lines.
Working knowledge of legal regulations applicable to logistics related function.
Excellent communication / negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms with vendors.
Desirable Requirement :
Good network with Custom Houses, Excellent communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software. Prior experience of working with shipping line.
Job Role
Ensure compliance to regulations relating to Customs Law, Logistics, Inventory management, vendor selection.
Support Business units on import-export operations, with a focus on coordinating with forwarders and shipping lines.
Ensure business operations are complying to legal requirements and standards.
Collaborate with BU to create coordinated plans for business growth.
Co-ordination with Customs Department for submissions / representations.
To make company logistics related processes efficient, maintain good relationships with suppliers, distributors, and vendors, and meet customers’ expectations.
Skills Required (Technical / Soft):
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar / related field.
Working knowledge of legal regulations relating to logistics function.
Understanding of both warehouse and transportation management [domestic / international].
Proven experience in import-export operations, with a focus on coordinating with forwarders and shipping lines.
Excellent communication / negotiation skills and ability to secure favorable terms with vendors.
Experience: - Around 8-10 years of working experience in Logistics domain.
